Hilarós

In Greek, hilaros is defined as: "won over, already inclined". It's where we get the English word hilarious! And this word is only ever used in the Bible one time. In 2 Corinthians 9:7 Paul uses it to describe the kind of giving God loves! Not one of duty or reluctance but one that is spontaneously, cheerfully, even HILARIOUSLY! That's the kind of givers we want to be! Hilaros givers!
